Here,
Cerise models "No Parking", the first Hex dress. I was wandering around Ann
Arbor MI, and saw a derelict parking meter cover... Later, I took that, a hockey jersey
sleeve, and various fabrics and made what you see here. Since it was my first time making
a dress, it was difficult, but fun. The hip area has two adjustable parts for different
sizes. The jersey material I used on the rear makes for an contrast against the orange
shirt underneath. I finished the dress off with some decorative stiching, and the Hex logo
on the back shoulder. photos
